e have implemented a feature that makes the hacking of accounts more difficult. Now the email address of an account cannot be changed immediately anymore. Instead there is a waiting period of one month. Additionally, an email is sent to the old address in order to notify the owner of the forthcoming change.

Thus, as long as you have access to the email address of your account, you cannot lose your account as the email address cannot be changed all of a sudden. This way you can always obtain the password of your account by using the web interface. Of course you should take good care of your email account because this is the only way for us to identify you as the rightful owner of your Tibia account.
